When it comes to the BODY, the stressors and responsibilities of city life tend to leave MEN last in the punch-clock-line of self-care. The physical effects of this "selfless" attribute, however, have a ripple effect at the SOUL level. Feelings of inadequacy or lacking the strength to move on are symptomatic of some of the emotional responses experienced when the body and the soul are not in synch. At the core, these feelings of dissatisfaction--of not living wholeheartedly-- happen when desire is not being properly channeled. This is where I come in.
The BODY & LEATHER SOUL healing practice I have been developing since 2010 is a syncretic approach that aims to create a safe space based on shared communication and mutual respect. I honor our self-declared boundaries and our efforts to safely push beyond them in order to enter a safe space where letting go of control can become energizing and relaxing at the same time.
Engaged in conscious breathing until it becomes second nature, allowing the Body to connect with our Leather Soul, what I offer is a Tantric Leather Shamanic Journey for MEN that involves sound therapy, kundalini energy re-balancing, mindful, open-hearted touch with some impact play and leather stimulation. Please be aware I do not engage in bondage nor do I use ayahuasca in sessions. This experience is fueled by conscious breathing and Tantric kundalini energy activation* which can be ignited with light spanking at the root chakra.
With more than ten years devoted to the development of my practice, I am confident I can help you release muscular and mental tension thanks to the body-work techniques I have been exposed to and learned from, like deep-tissue massage, Reiki and the playful stimulation of leather against your skin to help the movement of AMARU / kundalini energy run through your body; all aimed at transforming desire into a rejuvenating and relaxing experience whose after-effects can last for days.
*For those of you who have used cannabis for medicinal purposes or recreationally, I have observed that experiences with THC can be transformative and enlightening and/but the process of "letting go"post-session lasts longer. When it comes to the use of medicinal plants to raise kundalini energy, think of single-pointed awareness.as the breath.

Experience
My background
I knew I was into men at age fourteen. That exciting discovery, however, was unsurprisingly tainted by the inadequacy of my desire in the context of my environment. Nevertheless, that first happy memory sends me back to Lima, Peru. In my thirties, I reclaimed my gay, queer energy through experimental dance. That happened in New York City.
In my forties, I accepted I am a spiritual Leather Man and went on to being initiated as a healer. Following my initiation in 2013, I started to accept that I am a curandero, a Queer Shaman if you prefer, reclaiming a lost practice and a connection to my native land which I love in a S&M kind-of-way but know at the soul level. My mesa, the altar central to my practice, honors the people whose love, talents and gifts bestowed upon me have made New York City the place I call home.
Mis artes curativas, the healing arts I offer, are not for everyone yet they are accessible to anyone over the age of twenty one. Communication is vital, so if you are new to my practice or simply interested or curious about my craft, connect with me via text message or email and I'll get back to you. Confidentiality is highly valued.
